Riggs Cat is seeking a seasoned technical specialist to act as a Trimble/Cat technology expert. You will train clients on TBC, WorksManager, WorksOS, SiteWorks, EarthWorks, Cat Grade, and VisionLink.

The role blends office and field work with regular customer site visits and monthly travel, requiring strong problem solving and customer service skills. You will troubleshoot, optimize software and machine tech, interpret plans and docs, and coordinate with manufacturer reps to resolve issues while

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience with GPS/machine control tech (Trimble preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction processes and jobsite workflows.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and technical docs.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems related to construction tech.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Trimble/Cat tech expert for on & off‑machine software and cloud solutions.
• Provide client training on TBC, WorksManager, WorksOS, SiteWorks, EarthWorks, Cat Grade, VisionLink.
• Support setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of software and machine tech.
• Act as primary technical liaison with manufacturer reps to resolve issues.
• Support sales with demos, solution recs, quotes, and customer consulting.
• Communicate technical issues and improvements to SITECH/Riggs management.
