Job summary

Haddad Organization Ltd. seeks a Trim Development Assistant to support the Fabric/Trim, Design, and Sourcing teams in tracking and cataloging developments throughout the materials lifecycle.

You will maintain seasonal trim assortments, update standard charts, and help keep the materials library accessible for designers while coordinating with overseas offices on updates and trends for upcoming seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile/Product Development or related field.
• Internships and/or related experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining seasonal trim assortments and keep information up to date.
• Update trim standard charts and prepare materials for bi-weekly reviews.
• Help organize the materials library for designers to access easily.
• Coordinate with overseas offices to track updates and share trim development information.
• Participate in trim review meetings and track feedback and follow-up items.
• Prepare trim projection charts for sampling.
• Research trends, new materials, and vendor innovations for upcoming seasons.
• Create seasonal trend boards and presentation materials for design/sourcing teams.
• Document and distribute seasonal trim standards to sourcing partners.
• Support special projects as assigned.
