Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Junior Materials Developer to assist in fabric and trim development for TravisMathew Men’s line. The role collaborates with Design, Merch, Development and Sourcing to create seasonally aligned fabrics and trims that meet quality standards and cost targets.

Responsibilities include participating in fabric selection, guiding development trials, and maintaining lab dips, trims, and samples in PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or technical trade school and/or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in material sourcing and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design, Merch, Development & Sourcing teams to develop in season fabrics for Men’s line.
• Actively participate in the fabric selection process.
• Develop 1-2 Inline Pillars seasonal fabric developments into bulk ready fabrics meeting quality standards, timelines, costs.
• Identify issues in manufacturing and mitigate risk.
• Track fabric, lab dip and trim submissions, developments, pricing and approvals in PLM system.
• Prepare and present development trials with key stakeholders to aid fabric/trim adoption.
