Job summary

Alice and Olivia in New York City is seeking a Trims Coordinator to partner with Design, Product Development, Production, and Technical Design to manage trims and BOM for overseas garment manufacturing. You will source trims, develop options with vendors, and maintain development PO records in PLM.

The role requires 1+ years in trim or product development, experience with woven, denim, and leather trims, strong multi-tasking, and clear communication with cross-functional teams and overseas

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Trim or Product Development.
• Experience with woven, cut-and-sew, denim, leather and novelty trim components for RTW.
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, concise communication with cross-functional teams including Design, Production, Tech and Fabric.
• Strong communication with overseas vendors.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Solution-oriented approach.
• At least 2 years of experience in Production.

• Source and develop trims aligned with Design’s seasonal inspiration.
• Partner with existing vendors to present new seasonal trim options to Design.
• Create and maintain seasonal trim development purchase orders in PLM.
• Communicate daily with suppliers on order status.
• Maintain accurate order dates and tracking information in PLM system.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure information and pricing are accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of experience in Trim or Product Development.
• Experience with woven, cut-and-sew, denim, leather, and novelty trim components for RTW
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

BENEFITS:

• $60,000 - $70,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
