Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Education; three years of youth work experience in education setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred; Yaqui community experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify at-risk students and coordinate with staff to address educational issues.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure at-risk students receive appropriate assistance.
• Counsel students regarding school and attendance.
• Maintain progress files and report on student progress.
• Conduct home visits to understand attendance issues and communicate with families.
• Support development and monitoring of IEPs in collaboration with schools.
