Job summary

A:Shiwi Tribal College in New Mexico is seeking a Recruiter/Advisor to lead outreach to prospective students and community partners, assist with admissions and enrollment, and provide academic and student support advising.

You will serve as the primary contact between the College and students, families, schools, and community organizations, helping advance culturally grounded higher education and student success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of recruitment, academic advising, and student services.
• Knowledge of admissions, enrollment, registration, and financial aid processes.
• Experience with Tribal, rural, first-generation, and nontraditional students.
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries in working with students.
• Office procedures and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment outreach, and enrollment support.
• Conduct school visits, community events, campus tours, and college fairs.
• Develop recruitment campaigns and materials aligned with institutional goals.
• Assist prospective students with admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, and other enrollment processes.
• Represent A:shiwi Tribal College in a professional manner at on and off campus events.
• Track recruitment activities and compile student data; analyze trends.
