Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager to deliver accounting services and grants management for Tribal governments. You will provide ongoing accounting, monthly closings, and financial reporting to key decision makers, while developing updated policies and procedures and ensuring high-quality client deliverables.

You'll collaborate with clients to define new processes, support audit readiness, and participate in business development within the Consulting Practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, not-for-profit/government experience preferred
• Experience with grants management and financial reporting is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client service
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Performs accounting, grants management, and financial reporting for Tribal governments
• Prepares polished deliverables and ensures timely client deliverables
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and policies
• Leads project start-up activities and adheres to schedules
• Assists with audits and growth of the practice
• Reviews team work for accuracy
• Travels to client sites as needed (10–15%)
