You will collaborate with teams to improve processes, ensure compliance, and support audits, while delivering high-quality client service and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in nonprofit/government settings.
• Experience in grants management, financial accounting, grant reporting, and accounts payable is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent client service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational, accounting, and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Manages grants, reporting, and communication with clients and key decision makers.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Reviews work for accuracy and assists with audit preparations.
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and controls.
• Occasionally travels to client locations and trainings.
