Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager to lead accounting services for Tribal governments within the Consulting practice. You will oversee monthly closings, grants management, and financial reporting to key decision makers, delivering high-value deliverables and ensuring client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and ability to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting for Tribal governments.
• Prepare polished client deliverables and ensure timely submission.
• Develop policies on key accounting matters and improve processes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand current practices and define updated procedures.
• Coordinate with clients during audits and help preparation.
• Support growth of the practice and quality review of teammates' work.
• Travel to client locations or trainings as needed (about 10–15%).
