Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager for Tribal government accounting and grants management within its Consulting practice. You will deliver ongoing accounting services and support grant management functions for government clients, ensuring timely, high-quality reporting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in government or not-for-profit contexts, strong communication, and the ability to travel 10–15% to client sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in government or not-for-profit settings.
• Experience with grants management, financial accounting, and audits.
• Strong verbal and written communication and client service orientation.

Mansioni

• Performs operational, accounting, and consulting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers.
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients and ensures timely client deliverables.
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters.
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and update policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process and helps prepare for audits.
• Contributes to growing the practice and reviews team work for accuracy.
• Travels to client locations, trainings, or industry conferences as needed.
