Job summary

The Cowlitz Indian Tribe is seeking a Tribal Enrollment Program Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Department. You will coordinate enrollment services, maintain member records, and help deliver benefits and program services to eligible members.

Under the Enrollment Director, you will manage enrollment applications, update records in Ritetrack/Progeny, issue IDs and licenses, prepare reports, and liaise with other departments and vendors to fulfill program obligations

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Tribal Studies, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of administrative/coordinator/customer service experience.
• Ability to pass FBI background check for Enhanced Tribal Card program.
• Experience with Tribal government preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Process enrollment applications and documentation per tribal law.
• Maintain member records in Ritetrack/Progeny with confidentiality.
• Issue IDs, ETCs, park passes, licenses to eligible members.
• Coordinate funeral benefits and GWE applications.
• Generate reports for grants and demographics.
• Liaise with other departments and vendors to fulfill obligations.
• Assist in planning tribal events and communications.
• Manage office supplies and calendars.
