Job summary

The Cowlitz Indian Tribe seeks a Tribal Enrollment Program Coordinator to support daily enrollment operations, maintain member records, and ensure timely delivery of benefits and program services to eligible Tribal members. Under the Enrollment Director, you will handle documentation, data entry, and interactions with Tribal members.

You will coordinate enrollment-related services, perform clerical duties, and assist with program implementations such as IDs, licenses, and verification services

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two (2) years of administrative/program coordination or customer service experience.
• Ability to pass FBI background checks for Enhanced Tribal Card program administration.
• Tribal preference applies per CIT policies.
• Valid driver’s license required for work-related driving.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process enrollment applications and supporting documentation.
• Maintain and update enrollment records in Ritetrack/Progeny with confidentiality.
• Issue Tribal IDs, ETCs, park passes, elder vests, and hunting/fishing licenses.
• Prepare and distribute official correspondence for the Enrollment Department.
• Coordinate funeral benefit services and support grant reporting and outreach.
• Support department events and procurement per budget policies.
• Maintain calendars, take minutes, and communicate action items.
