Job summary

Bowman and Brooke LLP is seeking a Trial Ready Litigation Paralegal to join our team in either Austin or Plano, TX. The role supports trial teams with document preparation, discovery, subpoenas, and medical record chronology gathering, leveraging iManage for file management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate and at least 4 years of litigation defense experience, with strong organizational and billing accuracy skills and willingness to travel for trial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of litigation defense experience required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for trial.
• Familiar with client billing guidelines and accurate billing entries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and proofread a variety of documents (correspondence, agreements and pleadings).
• Assist attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions and subpoenas.
• Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage).
• Prepare for trial, including coordinating witnesses, exhibits and trial subpoenas.
