Jobot in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our growing Insurance Defense team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of paralegal experience handling litigation from inception through trial, with strong case management and communication skills.

The role requires hands-on work with pleadings, discovery, deposition summaries, and trial prep, plus organizing case files and maintaining docketing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; insurance defense preferred.
• Paralegal certificate or degree strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal software (TrialDirector/CaseMap).

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production and medical record summaries
• Prepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibit binders
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and support
• Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
• Monitor deadlines and maintain docketing systems
