Job summary

Takeda seeks a Senior Manager, GDO Trial Performance Intelligence & Strategy in Cambridge, MA. You will lead trial performance insights, partner with Trial Insights and stakeholders, and translate business needs into actionable outputs to improve trial quality, speed, and cost.

You will drive adoption of insights, oversee priority initiatives, and own deliverables from planning to execution, collaborating across global teams and external partners in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of applicable business intelligence, and/or drug development experience; or advanced degree with 2+ years of statistical/quantitative experience.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Strong independence and ownership of deliverables, including planning and communication.
• Global/international experience preferred, including collaboration across locations.
• Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with exposure to clinical development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the trial performance intelligence agenda for assigned studies, programs, and initiatives by identifying, monitoring, and interpreting KPIs, trends, risks and opportunities; deliver insights and recommendations.
• Partner with Trial Insights, Performance Optimization leaders, study teams, CROs and partners to align on priority questions and drive adoption of insights.
• Translate business priorities into actionable trial performance intelligence and strategy outputs supporting timely tactical decisions for study teams and stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted SME in operational reporting, BI, and data visualization to deliver clear, decision-ready outputs.
• Drive adoption and sustained use of trial performance intelligence through engagement with study teams and leaders to embed insights into ways of working.
• Provide hands-on leadership for priority initiatives by executing bespoke insights and surfacing opportunities to improve quality, speed, and cost.
• Recommend appropriate metrics and interpretation approaches to strengthen trial performance discussions.
