Qualifications

• Active DC, Maryland, and/or Virginia bar membership required.
• 2–6 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Participation in at least one trial through verdict desired (first-chair preferred).
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and trial memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients at hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Second-chair and eventually first-chair jury trials.
