• Second-chair and eventually first-chair jury trials.

Position Overview

We are seeking an associate attorney to join ourVirginia officein Fairfax. The ideal candidate is a driven trial lawyer with several years of personal injury experience who is ready to take on significant responsibility in an active, trial-oriented practice. We offer a hybrid work environment but request a minimum of three in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Active DC, Maryland, and/or Virginia bar membership(required)
• 2–6 years of experiencein personal injury litigation — experience on either the plaintiff or defense side will be considered
• Deposition experience— both defending and taking depositions
• Working knowledge of litigation procedure, including discovery, motions practice, and case management in DC/MD/VA state and federal courts
• Trial experience— the candidate should have participated in at least one trial through verdict (first-chair experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with partners and support staff
• Commitment to representing individuals, not insurance companies
