Job Overview:

A leading law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a seasoned litigation professional with a strong background in personal injury law to take on a high-impact trial attorney role focusing on premises liability matters. This position demands a proactive, courtroom-savvy attorney ready to manage a dynamic caseload, advocate fiercely for clients, and navigate all phases of civil litigation. Duties:

1. Oversee a high-volume docket with approximately 150 personal injury matters, including ~50 in active litigation monthly
2. Represent clients from intake through trial or settlement
3. Conduct depositions, mediations, pre-trial motions, and court hearings
4. Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s case
5. Serve as lead attorney in jury trials, handling all aspects from voir dire through verdict
6. Communicate frequently and transparently with clients to ensure clarity and trust throughout the legal process
7. Collaborate with legal support teams to ensure efficient case progression

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation
2. 5-8 years preferred, including experience on either the plaintiff or defense side (plaintiff experience strongly valued)
3. Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
4. Additional State Bar admissions are a plus
5. At least 5 completed first-chair jury trials required; 10+ preferred
6. Strong understanding of Georgia Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence
7. Confident courtroom demeanor with demonstrated litigation results

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

1. Active Georgia Bar membership required
2. Additional Bar admissions are beneficial
