Triage Clinician - Milford
We have a great opportunity to join our mobile crisis intervention team in Milford!
You will be able to work in a supportive small team atmosphere while also being part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry.
The Triage Clinician:
- Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team devoted to crisis intervention and stabilization.
- Assists MCI clinicians by triaging cases to determine the most appropriate location for intervention, prioritizing community-based, non-hospital settings.
- Serves as an integral part of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program, collaborating with other MCI clinicians to provide crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, either on-site or mobile, to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- Acts as the primary responder to all incoming calls to MCI, using clinical and administrative judgment to triage appropriately.
- Arranges assessments on-site or in the community and organizes transportation as needed.
- Secures placements in detox units, inpatient units, and diversionary levels of care, coordinating transfers to these facilities.
- Assesses mental health and substance use presentations to triage cases with independence.
- Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, liaising with various stakeholders and providers.
- Provides telephonic support to individuals in crisis and assesses the need for clinical intervention.
Schedule
Relief; Day and Evening shifts available, including flexible 10- and 12-hour shifts—great work-life balance with options for a 3- or 4-day workweek.
Pay Rate
- Unlicensed Clinician - $35.69/hr
- Independent Licensure - $38.25/hr
- Additional hourly rates of $1 for 2nd shift (evenings), $2 for 3rd shift (overnights), and $1 for weekend shifts (stacking differentials).
