Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician - 1st Shift - Saturday/Sunday

Join Riverside Community Care as a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Clinician! The Master’s level Clinician plays a vital role in the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention program.

MCI offers crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, either on-site or mobile, to individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

The MCI Clinician collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support and evaluate Community Crisis Stabilization Unit clients and liaises with community providers for ongoing care. Responsibilities include crisis intervention (evaluation, stabilization, referral, follow-up) on-site, in the community, and in emergency departments; support and evaluation of Crisis Stabilization Unit clients; liaison work; and telephone triage as needed.

Orientation is provided, focusing on diagnosis, safety assessment, and resource awareness based on care level. Clinical supervision is available, including licensure track hours for eligible staff. Riverside offers extensive staff training with CEUs.

Ideal candidates meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s Degree eligible for licensure in Psychology, Social Work, or related human service field
  • Preferred: Two years’ experience in mental health, including internships
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families (at least one year for services to under 21)
  • Knowledge of and experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for limited local travel

Schedule: Part-Time, 16 hours/week on 1st Shift - Saturday/Sunday

Payrate:

  • Unlicensed Clinician - $35.69/hour
  • Licensed Clinician - $38.25/hour
  • Additional hourly differentials: $1 for 2nd shift (evenings), $2 for 3rd shift (overnights), and $1 for weekends
