Triage Clinician - Full Time - 1st Shift

Location: Milford, MA

Position: Full-Time, 40 hours, 1st Shift (Monday-Friday)

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity to join our mobile crisis intervention team in Milford. The Triage Clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to crisis intervention and stabilization. Responsibilities include triaging cases to determine the most appropriate intervention location, prioritizing community-based, non-hospital settings, and collaborating with other clinicians to provide 24/7 crisis services either on-site or mobile.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls, triage cases using clinical judgment
• Arrange assessments and coordinate transportation
• Secure placements in detox, inpatient, or diversionary care, and coordinate transfers
• Assess mental health/substance use presentations independently
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, liaising with stakeholders
• Provide telephonic crisis support and evaluate the need for clinical intervention

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• At least two years’ experience in mental health preferred; experience with children/youth and co-occurring disorders is a plus
• Highly organized, reliable, flexible, with excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Compensation & Benefits

Pay rate varies by licensure:

• Unlicensed Clinician: $35.69/hr
• Licensed Clinician: $38.25/hr
• Additional shift differentials apply: $1 for 2nd shift, $2 for 3rd shift, $1 for weekend shifts
