Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson in Franklin, NC to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies for vegetation management projects. Must have prior line clearance experience as climber, trimmer, or bucket operator, with tree removal knowledge and a valid driver’s license. CDL preferred.

This safety-sensitive role requires adherence to PPE and safety standards and occasional storm work. The position offers full-time hours with health insurance benefits, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License and be able to safely drive a company vehicle.
• Experience coordinating crew members and equipment on vegetation management jobs.
• Experience in line clearance as climber, trimmer, or bucket operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and enforce safe practices and rules.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment daily.
• Assign tasks to crew and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work safely and efficiently.
• Notify property owners of presence and obtain access permissions.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety protocols on site.
• Trim or remove trees using climbing or ground methods.
• Load/unload materials and operate equipment as needed.
• Keep time and material records; perform daily truck inspections.
