Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Franklin, NC seeks an Aerial Lift Trimmer to climb, prune, and remove trees near utility lines. Requires at least six months of professional line-clearance experience; experience with tree removals and hazard trees is preferred. Driver's license is preferred; Class B CDL is a plus.

This full-time role offers medical, vision, and dental insurance, plus enrollment in a 401K retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred. CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce safety guidelines.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Observe and improve climbing and tree maintenance skills.
• Assist crew members in daily activities.
• Safeguard workers and the public from hazards while keeping area clean.
• Perform storm-related duties as needed.
