Job summary

XKIG is hiring a Foreperson to coordinate and lead a crew in vegetation management and related field tasks. You will direct the team, manage equipment and materials, and ensure all work complies with contract specifications and safety policies.

Responsibilities include planning daily tasks, enforcing PPE and safety rules, and communication with customers and property owners. Travel for storm work may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Must be able to follow verbal or written directives.
• Must be able to delegate work and take accountability for the crew performance.
• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, equipment, etc.
• Must be able to act independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have and maintain a driver’s license and be able to safely drive a company vehicle.
• Must be able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must be able to travel for storm restoration work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete jobs safely and per contract specs.
• Direct crew members and manage daily equipment usage and work assignments.
• Plan, execute, and supervise tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Ensure PPE use and adherence to safety rules on all sites.
• Inspect work against specifications and communicate completion to customers.
