Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a motivated Trimmer Trainee to join our Colorado field team. This full-time, non-exempt role starts at $21.65–$26.72 per hour with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a company-sponsored retirement plan.

You will trim and remove trees, operate and service required tools, load trucks, and assist in training new employees while upholding safety around customers and traffic.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces, performing mentally/physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Cleans and loads/unloads trucks.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks and equipment.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Maintains proper inspection of tools and equipment.
