Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Arvada, CO. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with starting pay of $21.65–$26.72 per hour, paid weekly, and a company-paid retirement plan along with health coverage.

Responsibilities include trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, loading trucks, and assisting on job sites. Training is provided; growth opportunities exist within field operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights.
• Must have good hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Cooperates with customers, police and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
