Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Colorado is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to start in a hands-on, safety-focused role. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with an hourly wage ranging from $21.65 to $26.72 based on experience, and weekly pay.

You will trim and remove trees, operate tools and equipment, assist in training new staff, and help keep job sites safe and orderly while delivering reliable service to customers with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, drives trucks and equipment.
• Sets up barriers and warning signs to protect employees and the public.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and work locations.
