Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for a Trimmer Trainee in Colorado. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating tools and equipment, and supporting ground crew tasks in outdoor environments.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, with wages starting at $21.65 to $26.72 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly. Benefits include a company-sponsored retirement plan, health insurance, employee assistance program, and life/disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
