Lewis Tree Service in Michigan is hiring a Trimmer to join our outdoor team. The role encompasses ground-level and elevated pruning, tree felling, and vegetation management around power lines, with operation of chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear under safety training.

Formación

• 12+ months experience on tree crews as a Trimmer Trainee
• Basic knowledge of tree species and pruning techniques
• Ability to work at heights with climbing gear or aerial lifts
• CPR and First Aid certified or provided by Lewis
• Valid driver’s license, CDL, and medical certification as required
• Acquire and maintain training/licenses for safe herbicide use

Responsabilidades

• Perform ground-level and elevated pruning, felling, and vegetation removal to clear around power lines and equipment
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and similar equipment; lower limbs using handlines and rigging
• Assist with job site setup, maintenance, rigging, traffic control, and clean-up
• Support site safety by spotting and communicating hazards
• Drive and operate trucks and specialized equipment (certification required)
• Travel for work, including potential overnight stays
