Job summary

Lewis Tree Service seeks experienced Trimmer personnel to support utility vegetation management projects. You will perform ground and elevated pruning, tree felling, and vegetation removal around power lines, using chainsaws and related tools.

The role requires climbing or aerial lift work under supervision, safety practices, and willingness to travel as needed. We offer paid training, strong teamwork, and an ESOP environment with opportunities for advancement within a growing, employee-owned

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience on tree crews or similar fieldwork.
• Ability to perform work at heights with climbing gear or aerial lifts.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and medical certification as required by role.

Responsibilities

• Ground-level and aloft pruning, felling, and vegetation removal around power lines and equipment.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment; rig trees and limbs.
• Assist with job site setup, rigging, traffic control, and site cleanup.
• Support site safety by spotting, assisting climbers, and communicating hazards.
• Travel for work, including overnight stays as needed.
