Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Kent, WA is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate and maintain required tools, and support safe work practices on site. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay with participation in local union benefits.

You will load/unload trucks, feed debris into a woodchipper, and perform routine equipment maintenance while adhering to safety protocols. A driver’s license is preferred; pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• Minimum 4000 hours of line clearance tree trimming experience.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Maintain safe job sites and assist training of new staff.
