Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate specialized equipment, and maintain safe work sites. The role requires climbing, lifting, and working at heights, with strong attention to safety and teamwork in a union environment.

Qualification includes 18+ years, physical stamina, and 4,000 hours of line clearance experience. This full-time, non-exempt position offers union benefits and on-site duties with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing physically demanding work.
• No fear of heights.
• Minimum of 4000 hours of previous line clearance tree trimming experience.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up debris and maintains site safety.
• Relays hand signals and directs traffic as needed.
• Assists in training new employees.
