Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dedicated Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in North Carolina. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating tools, loading trucks, and maintaining site safety. A strong emphasis on teamwork and safety is required.

Responsibilities include traffic control, equipment maintenance, and assisting in training new staff. Entry-level applicants are welcome; a driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights under demanding conditions while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Driver's License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
