Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay and a benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.

Responsibilities include trimming and removing trees, operating tools, loading materials, and ensuring safety for employees and the public. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. Pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to work with hands above head.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent regrowth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains equipment and performs safety measures.
