Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, load trucks, and help maintain safety on job sites.

The position requires climbing, handling equipment, and ability to work under various weather conditions. Training may be provided; pre-employment drug screen and background checks are possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required, plus a plus for prior tree work.
• Must be able to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and ensures site safety.
• Keeps work areas clean and assists in training new employees.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
