Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will operate tools, climb, load debris, and perform safety duties. A valid driver's license is required, and joining the local union is expected. Entry-level applicants are welcome and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights under demanding conditions.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into chipper.
• Assists training of new employees.
• Ensures safety and proper housekeeping at work sites.
