Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and bucket work in outdoor settings throughout North Carolina. You will operate and maintain chainsaws, pole saws, and related equipment while following safety protocols and directing traffic as needed.

The role is full-time, non-exempt and requires good physical fitness, the ability to climb and work from ladders, and the willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position with no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and loads debris; feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks and equipment.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
