Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber with a valid driver's license to trim, top, and shape trees, ensuring clearance around utility powerlines. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay and benefits varying by tenure and location.

Responsibilities include operating tools, removing debris, and maintaining safe, organized work sites while supporting training for new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders, varying heights, on uneven surfaces while handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into woodchipper.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and worksites.
• Under guidance, assists with training new employees.
