Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree work in a physically demanding outdoor environment. You will trim, remove, and shear branches using ladder and bucket-access equipment, while following safety protocols and directing traffic as needed.

The role is full-time and on-site in Toledo, OH, with a US-based company known for its field crews and safety standards. Prior experience is not required, but a valid driver's license helps support operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and physically capable.
• Good hand-eye coordination and balance for ladder work.
• Ability to walk, climb, and perform demanding physical tasks outdoors.
• Driver's license required and pre-employment checks may apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections as needed.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment safely.
• Load/unload materials and feed debris to woodchippers.
• Set up barriers and direct traffic as required for safety.
• Maintain truck and equipment, and assist training new staff.
