Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees and provide clearance for utility lines. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating equipment, loading debris, and assisting in training new employees.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be willing to join a local union. The job requires physical endurance, working at various heights, and cooperation with customers and emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No fear of heights and ability to work on ladders and uneven surfaces.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards; directs traffic as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper condition of tools, truck, and work sites.
