Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a motivated Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, and assisting with training new staff in a safety-conscious environment. You will work on-site with potential for growth within the forestry and vegetation management teams.

The position emphasizes physical effort, working at various heights, and adhering to safety procedures while serving customers and communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position with no experience required; prior experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work safely with hands overhead and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers and traffic control; protects workers and the public.
• Assists in training new employees; maintains tools and trucks.
• Keeps work areas clean and ensures safe work conditions.
