Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with safety measures in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans debris and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Loads/unloads trucks and maintains clean work areas.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains safety and safeguards employees and the public in work zones.
