Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer Trainee to join our field teams in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on training in tree trimming, debris handling, and equipment use in outdoor environments.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable preparation for more advanced duties in vegetation management. You will work outdoors, adapt to weather, and support customer sites while learning proper procedures and equipment care.

Qualifications

• Must have good hand‑to‑eye coordination.
• Ability to work with hands above head and on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to learn and operate tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools/equipment used in trimming.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris to woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and warning signs to protect workers and the public.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain equipment in good condition.
