Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Town of Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for a full-time, non-exempt outdoor role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, load trucks, and assist in training new staff while maintaining safety and orderly work sites. No prior experience is required; a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

You must be able to work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and endure varied weather conditions. Pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and physically able to perform demanding outdoor work.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods and in varying weather.
• No fear of heights and ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Maintains clean work areas and safeguards the public from hazards.
• Assists in training new employees and supports safety procedures.
