Job summary

Carr's Tree Service is hiring a Crew Member to support tree care operations in Zimmerman, MN. You will prune, remove, chip debris, and assist climbers while maintaining a strong safety focus and professional customer interaction.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a valid driver's license, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and good English communication. CDL A, pesticide license, EHAP training, ISA certification, or forestry degree are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with the team in English.
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work well within a team.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Tree pruning, trimming, and removal operations.
• Ground operations including brush chipping, brush mowing, chainsaw work, and site cleanup.
• Stump grinding and debris removal.
• Emergency tree services such as storm damage response.
• Assist climbers and arborists with rigging systems and aerial operations.
• Staging of equipment and materials for safe and efficient tree work.
• Safely operate tools and equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers, and brush mowers.
• Inspect equipment daily and report mechanical or safety concerns to crew leadership.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Interact professionally with property owners, municipal officials, and the public.
• Represent Carr's Tree Service with professionalism and respect at all times.
• Work cooperatively with crew members and leadership to complete jobs efficiently.
