Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking an Equipment Operator with a valid driver's license to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines on project sites nationwide. The role is full-time with hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will transport equipment, perform maintenance, and work in varied weather conditions. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences and culverts.
• Cuts brush with a chainsaw and feeds material into a wood chipper.
• Maintains truck, chipper and other equipment in good order.
• Assists spray personnel with herbicide mixing.
• Works around hazards and noise with protective gear.
