Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. You will be involved in safety‑driven tasks to ensure quality production and customer satisfaction.

The role requires operating various tools and equipment, maintaining the worksite, and coordinating with crew members. A valid driver license is required, and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, mower deck, weed whacker, chipper, and sprayers.
• Clears debris and maintains safety and production standards.
• Uses hand-tools as required and trims or removes trees with property owner permission.
• Maintains customer relations and communicates work scope clearly.
• Trains new personnel and stays informed on equipment and procedures.
