Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator in Minnesota to operate heavy equipment and support line clearance for utility projects. The role requires a valid driver license and willingness to work across multiple job sites, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The position involves transporting equipment, performing vegetation management tasks, operating wood chippers, and handling safety procedures around hazardous equipment in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multiple state job locations.
• Gathers brush and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Assists senior spray person in mixing herbicide when applicable.
• Works around hazardous equipment and loud machinery, using hearing protection.
• Maintains equipment in neat, clean, and proper working order.
