Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, ensuring safe, efficient work on a crew. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely production while maintaining professional relations with customers.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate tasks, service equipment, and follow procedures for identifying tree species and avoiding electrical hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline-powered tools, power saws, chipper, sprayers.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris.
• Obtains property owner permission to trim or remove trees.
• Promotes safe work practices and maintains customer relations.
• Trains new personnel.
