Job summary

LSI - Landscape Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to oversee tree care operations such as removals, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. The Crew Leader is tasked with ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Previous experience in tree care and crew supervision.
• Ability to safely operate tree equipment and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of tree removal and pruning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and stump grinding.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, and other equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely.
• Train and mentor crew members.

Job description

LSI is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to perform tree care operations, including tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a crew safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and stump grinding
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, loaders, and other tree equipment
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Maintain communication with supervisors, customers, and crew members
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections
• Follow all ANSI, OSHA, and company safety procedures
• Train and mentor crew members on safe work practices

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL Is a plus)
• Previous experience in tree care and crew supervision
• Ability to safely operate tree equipment and commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of tree removal, pruning techniques, rigging, and safety procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience bucket operations, Chipper, Stump Grinder
